I would like to express my sincere thanks to the 41 volunteers who assisted at this years festival. It was a privilege to work with you, your outstanding contribution made us extemely proud, we could not have asked for more! The feedback from authors and attendees highlight with out exception the friendliness and professionalism of our volunteer team. I have never worked with a more responsive or commited team and I commend each and everyone of you for your selfless contribution to ensuring the success of our first Festival.

If you're interested in event organisation/management, arts management, books, new media, live music performances and the general arts then this is the place to be. Offering a chance to see your favourite authors/performers, network with like-minded individuals, experience insightful workshops and debates and observe how a large scale event is organised.
We're looking for a group of reliable and flexible volunteers to help with the smooth running of the festival in 2011. The PLF team are an enthusiastic, hardworking and friendly team who are helping to develop the arts in Poole, Dorset. We ask for your commitment and enthusiasm to collectively make the festival a big success.
